Yes, we most certainly are! Our River Room is officially open and hosting many types of special events. If you're interested in having your event at our location, please call us at 719-428-5352 or send us an email to events@tavahouse.com so we can assist in your upcoming event.


Yes, we would be happy to accomodate a Tava House tour to assist with your event planning.  Please call our Team at 719-428-5352 or send an email to events@tavahouse.com to schedule an official tour.


The Tava House River Room event space can occupy 100 guests in the Winter and 140 guests in the Summer. This banquet room includes a large screen television, optimal space for any type of event or room layout, and an array of service and decoration choices as well. In order to plan your event safely, please plan for inviting 100 guests as our event planners can assist further if your numbers increase beyond that. We look forward to hosting your special event someday!


Yes, we accept reservations for Firebrand.  Taproom is still remains open seating.  Online reservations for Firebrand can be made on the website (Click button where you see it).  Also, on our Google Profile where it says "severnrooms.com".


Yes, you will find our Taproom menu on our Taproom page. Now, make a note that the Firebrand menu is still being carefully constructed to meet our Master Chef's standard. Please stay tuned to see that final menu in the near future.


Yes, we will always provide gluten free options to our customers. Every course of the Tava House menu will contain delectable gluten free options, specially prepared by our Master Chef Victor Matthews. (Disclosure: Please understand that our kitchen handles many types of culinary materials and ingredients, so we cannot 100% guarantee a complete gluten free status. We advise all customers to be cautious and if there are any severe allergies within your group, please advise your server immediately so we can respect that need.)


As a scratch kitchen with highly educated and creative chefs, we can accommodate nearly all allergies and dietary restrictions. (We encourage all customers to note that the risk of specific allergen contact with any ingredient is always present in a kitchen such as ours. Please communicate with your server or one of the Tava House Team Members as soon as you arrive so we can adjust our service as needed.) It is worth noting that we have a decadent in-house bakery that does use wheat flour, which is directly connected to our production kitchen, so we cannot promise with 100% certainty that any product or dish served will be safe from any cross-contact. However, we can guarantee that our professional staff will always do our best to respect any type of allergies, food or otherwise, to accommodate anyone's particular needs.


The local beef we serve is not 100% grass fed or grass finished, but we do source our beef from the highest-quality resources. Our meat dishes include top shelf beef, yak, and bison from PBJ Farms in Divide and Callicrate Beef from Colorado Springs. They are both known for the quality and consistency of their products and we have always received nothing but the best from them. As necessary, Tava House does utilize several other local ranches and suppliers if ever any supply delays, but our culinary team only orders the cream of the crop.


Tava House does not have any plans to provide private lockers for our guests at this time. However, we do have a beautiful 800-bottle wine room that will house a strong variety of labels, producers, regions, and varietals. Our wine selection will continually expand as we continue to refine our dishes, atmosphere, and brand.


We do not have any chef positions available at the moment, but we do encourage any interested parties to please continue to monitor our job opportunities page for updated openings. Other positions may be available at any given moment, so feel free to contact our hiring team or send your resume to contact@tavahouse.com for further information.

Downstairs within our banquet event room we are calling the "River Room," and our state-of-the-art self-serve Taproom we are calling the "Taproom," the Tava House Team will be required to wear a sharp, sophisticated black or white ensemble including a chic, branded button down top, with our signature red color as a prominent accent. Upstairs where our 5-star chophouse restaurant and seating area we are calling the "Firebrand," our team will have a more formal, black-tie look including classy vests and elevated aprons to accentuate the luxurious atmosphere. Tava House is excited for guests to come in and immediately be taken away to a divine, exclusive meal made for royalty.


Our pet policy respects the local Woodland Park, Colorado, laws when it comes to accommodating service dogs within our restaurant. Licensed service animals will be allowed, as we follow all laws and guidelines regarding these special needs. We will also allow any well-behaved pets on our outdoor patio area only. Any furry friends must be both human friendly and other pet friendly in order to respect the comfort and environment for other guests. If at anytime our staff believes a pet is misbehaving in any way, Tava House does reserve the right to ask pet owners to please exit the premises. We love all animals but do wish that our guests respect the quality of atmosphere we're providing in order to allow everyone to enjoy their visit to our chophouse and taproom. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.


We appreciate the question but other than for private events in our banquet room, we do not currently book musicians or groups for live play. We may explore such possibilities in the future, but as of this moment, we do not provide live music at Tava House.


We appreciate the interest, but Tava House currently has an exclusive coffee partnership with Solid Grounds, a well-known local coffee shop in Woodland Park. They have kindly developed a special Tava House blend just for us and our guests, so we are elated to have Solid Grounds as our selected coffee source.


Just to clarify and correct the record previously published: early news reports, unfortunately, included an error that indicated that Tava House was going to provide culinary education courses. In response to this message, we would like to confirm that Tava House will NOT be operating a culinary on-site school. We apologize for any inconvenience or discouragement this false narrative may have caused. 

With that said, our employed chefs working for Tava House will receive on-site hands-on mentoring from our MAster Chefs as part of our commitment to excellence and professional development for our employees. But that is simply an internal Tava House employment perk, we do not and will never have a culinary school associated with Tava House in Woodland Park.


We do not have any current plans to move the Paragon Culinary School to our Tava House restaurant in Woodland Park. However, we will support Paragon and those looking to become professional chefs by acting as their "mountain campus." This just means that students from Paragon and any other local high schools will be making their way through our kitchen to get a taste of the real world of culinary art. This has been approved by the VA and state authorities as an "extension campus of Paragon," so we are offering our restaurant as a place for students to learn in a different environment, and from our very own Master Chef Matthews. Tava House will never be a culinary school, but we are always open to assisting local campus to help develop new culinary minds for the future!


We are heavily involved in High School programs (for 25 years), have opened and designed two dozen, are deep in WPHS, and Chef V was the original founding chef of ProStart.

If you have more specific inquiries regarding student employment or something alike, please send those types of requests to our Master Chef Victor Matthews by emailing him at ChefMatthews@aol.com.

Please be aware that the school receives many inquiries and requests, so please understand that everyone is most likely already booked, but we do still encourage you to still get in touch with Chef Matthews to explain the details of your requirements.
